Duncan has a wide range of experience in both New Zealand and overseas, and he is involved frequently in managing large multi-disciplinary teams to achieve successful, integrated outcomes.
Duncan has significant planning experience, including attendance and representation at public hearings, evidence preparation, Environment Court mediation and the preparation of expert Joint Witness Statements,. In addition Duncan has a wide network of professional contacts within the development industry. Duncan is relied upon by many developers and professionals to provide expert and pragmatic advice, and seeks to incorporate best practice win-win outcomes for his clients and projects.
Nick has developed extensive experience in town planning and resource management. He has a background in local government and private consultancy. Nick has specialised in large format and complex developments inclusive of apartment towers, master planned subdivisions, electronic billboards and infrastructure establishment.
Nick has a development focus which has been built on understanding development feasibility and maximising yield. Projects have been managed from inception through to completion with core specialists relied on where required and managed accordingly. By taking a holistic development approach Nick has achieved solutions for projects which are not often contemplated by District Plans but are suitable for green field or urban environments.
Sam runs the engineering team at Civix and has a wide range of experience in three waters management and earthworks design, including infrastructure design and construction, modelling, asset management, design guidance and planning with a strong focus on Water Sensitive Urban Design.
Sam was co-author of Auckland Councils' Water Sensitive Design for Stormwater (March 2015), with this document still relied upon by Council experts and those in the private sector. Sam is a Chartered Civil Engineer with strong technical skills, which are applied to numerous private sector projects with positive results.
Kris is a senior scientist with significant experience in science and engineering managing and working on flooding, water quantity and water quality management projects.
Kris has extensive experience working in council and he leads many of our projects for the public sector. His experience includes, the project management of Auckland Councils regional Safeswim upgrade and the regional Watercourse Assessment program.
Jessica works in the planning team at Civix, and brings strong technical and analytical skills to the role. Jessica is proficient in the preparation of Assessment of Environmental Effects relating to complex consent applications across Auckland and wider regional centres. Jessica is an effective and experienced communicator, and is comfortable in the public forum.
Jessica has been involved in the private sector since 2014, and in this time has developed strong working relationships with a number of private and public experts / agencies.
Jack Emson is a civil engineer and 3D designer at Civix, fluent in 12D, CAD and GIS. Jack has a strong technical and design skill set, which enables complex drawings and designs to be prepared and presented to clients for review and approval.
Jack is very competent in three waters design, earthworks modelling and roading design, with a good understanding of the overall development process and client deliverables.
Sanna Soderlind is a civil engineer with extensive experience in Land Development Projects. Sanna has an excellent working knowledge of the Unitary Plan and Engineering codes of practice, which enables innovative and thoughtful engineering designs that meet council and client requirements.
Sanna is very competent in three waters and site access design, with a good understanding of the overall development process and client deliverables.
John is a planner with a strong understanding of the RMA and Auckland Unitary Plan. He is proficient in preparing Assessment of Environmental Effects and resource consent applications for projects across Auckland and other region centres.
John has been a planner in the private sector since 2014 and over this time worked on a wide range of residential and commercial developments. During this time he has also developed a strong understanding of the subdivision process. He works well with clients and other professionals to achieve the best development outcomes.
Imogen works as a planner in the Civix planning team. With a background in both local government and the private sector, she has a strong understanding of the RMA and related legislation. Imogen sports strong communication, writing and analytical skills which she utilises for the preparation of detailed Assessment of Environmental Effects to support resource consent applications for projects across Auckland and wider region centres.
Imogen has been a planner in the private sector since 2013 and, over this time, has worked on a wide range of land use and subdivision developments. She has developed strong working relationships with private and public experts, and strives towards achieving the best development outcome on every project.
Patrick Edwards is a civil engineer/designer with many years of experience in the design of civil infrastructure. Patrick is fluent in 12D, CAD and GIS. Patrick’s extensive experience in roading design enables our development projects to meet council and client requirements in a cost effective manner.
Patrick is a skilled GIS power user, working on complex datasets and analysis to prepare timely and detailed outputs for our clients.
Caitlyn has a BSc in Geography and Environmental Science, with a strong background in GIS . Caitlyn prepares infrastructure reports and drawing sets for land development projects.
Caitlyn has worked in both the public and private sectors, as an infrastructure GIS technician.
Delilah works in the planning team at Civix. Delilah has a background in local government and private consultancy, in Auckland and wider regions. Delilah is experienced in land use and subdivision consenting from small to complex developments.
With a strong technical knowledge of the Auckland Unitary plan, proficient technical writing abilities and great communication skills, Delilah is proficient in preparing consent applications and working with clients to achieve the best outcomes.
Denisa works in the engineering team at Civix on Land Development projects. Denisa has a masters in Surveying and Cartography and has worked as an Engineering Surveyor in the Auckland Region.
Denisa’s strong skill in GIS and Surveying help her create reports and designs for land development projects.
Victor Motovilov is a CAD Designer at Civix working on public sector design projects. Victor has several years of experience working on the drafting of Infrastructure projects. His skills and experience enable the production of clear and accurate project drawings for the preliminary and detailed design of infrastructure projects.
